Production Associate Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to support assembly and production operations in a fast-paced, clean, and organized manufacturing environment. In this role, you will assemble components, perform inspections and quality checks, pack parts for shipping, and follow detailed work instructions while using hand and power tools. This is a first-shift position where mechanical aptitude, reliability, and a strong willingness to learn are highly valued.

Shift:

7am-3:30pm

Pay:

$19/hour Responsibilities

+ Assemble sub-components of motors according to detailed work instructions and quality standards.

+ Pack parts and finished products for shipping, ensuring proper labeling, protection, and accuracy.

+ Pick and stage items and materials required for production activities.

+ Complete routine quality checks on parts and assemblies to verify conformance to specifications.

+ Clean and prepare metal parts by removing protective oil used to prevent rust during shipping.

+ Read and follow detailed written instructions, production documents, and computer-based work orders.

+ Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly to perform assembly and production tasks.

+ Move between different production cells and areas as needed and adapt to various tasks.

+ Work effectively within team-based production lines of 8-20 people, supporting team goals and output.

+ Maintain good attendance and punctuality and adhere to the company's attendance policies.

+ Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members to report issues, ask questions, and support continuous improvement.

+ Contribute to a clean, organized, and temperature-controlled production environment by following 5S and housekeeping practices. Essential Skills

+ Previous production experience within a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.

+ Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day while performing production and assembly tasks.

+ Ability to read and work from a computer screen, including viewing work orders and instructions.

+ Ability to use a computer to access and follow production documentation.

+ Consistently good attendance and punctuality, with the ability to follow an attendance policy.

+ Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new tasks and processes.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
