PO3 Assembler-HUGO Job Description Join our team as a PO3 Assembler where you will operate tools and equipment, ensuring adherence to quality standards. You will contribute to the creation and improvement of processes while maintaining accurate records and supporting improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Operate tools, equipment, and processes according to provided instructions and personal experience. Assist in the creation of operational instructions when none are available. Adhere to standard work, quality policies, and customer specifications. Monitor work to ensure quality standards and communicate effectively with supervisors, escalating issues when necessary. Maintain accurate timekeeping, record keeping, labor tracking, inventory control, process documentation, scrap, and quality records. Support improvement initiatives and participate actively to improve safety, cleanliness, product quality, and efficiency. Generate innovative solutions to complex problems. Keep up to date on all certifications and training requirements. Consistently complete assignments on time without compromising quality. Manage workload and tasks effectively. Train others on tasks if assigned. Essential Skills 2+ years of assembly experience. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Ability to read assembly diagrams or blueprints. Computer literacy. Additional Skills & Qualifications Basic computer skills. Ability to adapt to change. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Attention to detail. Ability to learn and be comfortable completing different tasks frequently. Sound judgment and initiative. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
