$18/hr Job Description We are seeking a dedicated assembler for our 2nd shift production team. The role involves working with precision and attention to detail, collaborating effectively with team members, and being adaptable to various tasks within the production process. Comfort with standing throughout the workday is essential. Responsibilities Documenting received parts in the receiving process. Performing factory resets with manual operations. Conducting automatic tests by connecting up to 32 units to determine repair needs. Executing Wi-Fi tests to ensure connectivity. Carrying out elevated temperature tests. Cleaning and repairing cosmetic aspects of products. Conducting in-process quality control checks. Preparing kits for shipment. Building pallets and packaging products for shipment. Scanning parts at each step of the process. Essential Skills Strong attention to detail. Comfortable being on feet for entire workday. Ability to work collaboratively with others. Willingness to be cross-trained in various areas. Additional Skills & Qualifications Hand dexterity. Punctuality. Experience with assembly, pick, packing, retail, repair, and refurbishing. Skills in stock management, quality inspection, and electronic assembly. Ability to use soldering tools, test equipment, RF scanners, computers, blueprints, and power tools. General labor experience. Located in Elgin, IL, the site is conveniently situated near gas stations and restaurants, just off Randall Road. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
