The Assembler will assemble mechanical valves for stock and customer orders while meeting quality, safety, and production requirements. The role includes material handling, production documentation, quality inspections, equipment care, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical valves according to production requirements and order priorities. Accurately document production activities and inventory usage. Safely move materials using fork trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and other equipment. Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy. Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Support inventory accuracy and continuous improvement initiatives.
MUST HAVE
High School Diploma or GED 1+ year of dedicated mechanical assembly experience Hands-on experience assembling mechanical valves using metal castings, shafts, nuts, bolts, collars, and O-rings Experience assembling standard valves from 4" to 12" and larger industrial valves up to 16"-24" Ability to independently lift up to 55 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods Ability to work 10-hour shifts and overtime as needed
Shift Timing:
7AM-5PM Weekly schedule: M-F CH1
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have hands-on experience assembling mechanical valves? Have you assembled valves using components such as metal castings, shafts, nuts, bolts, collars, and O-rings? Are you able to independently lift up to 55 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods? Are you willing to work 10-hour shifts and overtime as needed?
