Manufacturing Line Worker Key Responsibilities 1st
Shift:
6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Operate production equipment, filling machines, and packaging machinery used in the manufacturing process. Fill various cleaning products and chemical solutions into bottles and containers according to company procedures and safety standards. Assemble, cap, label, pack, inspect, and prepare finished products for shipment. Monitor filling levels, packaging quality, labels, and product consistency throughout production. Maintain efficient workflow and productivity on the manufacturing line. Keep workstations, filling equipment, and production areas clean and organized while following 5S and safety procedures. Load, unload, and move raw materials, bottles, caps, labels, and finished goods throughout the production area. Report equipment malfunctions, leaks, defects, or quality concerns to supervisors immediately. Follow all company policies, chemical handling procedures, safety regulations, and PPE requirements. Use downtime productively by cleaning equipment, organizing materials, preparing supplies, or assisting other production areas. Support continuous improvement initiatives and overall production efficiency. Basic RequirementsEducation High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience No prior experience required — on-the-job training provided. Previous experience in manufacturing, production, bottling, packaging, or assembly is a plus. Skills & Abilities Strong manual dexterity and ability to work efficiently with hands. Excellent attention to detail to ensure proper fill levels, labeling accuracy, and product quality. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25-50 lbs regularly. Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Basic math and reading skills for labels, instructions, counts, and measurements. Ability to safely handle cleaning products and follow chemical safety procedures. Good time-management skills and ability to meet daily production goals. Strong focus on workplace safety and PPE compliance. Self-starter who takes initiative and stays productive without constant supervision. Uses downtime effectively by preparing materials, organizing work areas, or cleaning equipment. Quick learner who actively seeks feedback and training opportunities. Team-oriented mindset with willingness to assist coworkers and support production operations. Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) Forklift certification or experience operating production equipment. Experience with bottling lines, filling equipment, conveyor systems, labeling machines, or packaging machinery. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, GMP, or 5S principles. Basic computer skills for entering production data or operating digital production systems. Work Environment & Conditions Industrial manufacturing and production facility environment. Exposure to cleaning products, soaps, detergents, or chemical odors may occur. Must follow all safety, cleanliness, chemical handling, PPE, and quality control standards. Overtime may be required depending on production schedules and demand. Daily standing, lifting, bending, reaching, and repetitive motion required.
