A Production Fabricator or Assembler constructs and assembles a wide range of products, such as engines, computers, aircraft, ships, boats, toys, electronic devices, and control panels, as well as the individual parts that make up these products.

Information about our business unit and products can be found at https://www.cs-nri.com/brands/avt/ We assemble mechanical water valves consisting of metal castings, shafts, nuts, bolts, collars, O-rings. There are no electrical or electronic components, no wiring, etc. Most of the assembled valves are 4" diameter - 12" diameter. We assemble and test, a smaller number of valves that are 16" - 24" diameter.
Basic Qualifications:
o High school diploma or equivalent is required o Valid driver's license, reliable transportation o Ability to work up to 5 days per week up to 10 hours per day (4-day 40 hour workweek average) o Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally o Strong team player with the ability to work independently o Effective organizational skills and strong attention to detail o Must be able to: list 50 pounds and walk frequently, stand for extended periods o Quality-focused workmanship o Willingness to learn and be taught
Preferred Qualifications:
o 2 years' experience in an assembly role o Fork truck driving experience o Ability to use computer Good oral and written communication skills and ability to follow written and spoken instructions Basic analytical, organizational, and time management skills Ability to use hand tools, power tools, read documents, and do basic counting and measurements Experience in assembly/manufacturing operations
Responsibilities:
