Job Description Job Description Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the assembly of low and medium voltage electrical switchgear cabinets for the manufacture of products to satisfy customer orders. 1st Shift

• 6am•2:30pm

Knowledge and Skills:

• Must have knowledge of electrical symbols and schematics
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and drawings
• Must be able to use shop equipment and hand tools
• Excellent mechanical skills
• Perform basic math functions including an understanding of fractions and decimals and read tape measure
• Perform basic computer skills
• Must be a team player and have good attendance Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Interpret assembly and elevation drawings
• Construct modular steel cabinets and copper buss assemblies
• Read tape measure
• Experience using manual hand tools (wrench, screwdriver, pliers)
• Experience with power tools (drill, impact, pneumatic torque wrench)
• Team player, able to work within a team environment
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
• Ensure proper protective equipment is worn at all times and tools or other equipment are properly used base on the task
• Follow control document procedures
• Regular in-person attendance is an essential function of this job Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
