Role Description The Fabricator Installer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Roselle, IL. This role is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing conveyor belts and related components according to specifications and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include measuring and cutting belting materials, operating fabrication tools and equipment, performing splices and repairs, and preparing products for delivery and installation. The Fabricator Installer will travel to customer sites as needed to install belts, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot issues, ensuring minimal downtime for customer operations. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized work area, following safety procedures, documenting work performed, and collaborating with team members and customers to deliver high-quality, timely service. Qualifications Hands-on mechanical aptitude, with experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. Ability to read and interpret measurements, drawings, and work orders to fabricate and install conveyor belts accurately. Knowledge of industrial or manufacturing environments, with a focus on safety procedures and quality standards. Physical ability to lift, move, and install belting materials and components, including working on-site at customer facilities. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when performing repairs, splices, and custom installations. Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with colleagues and interact professionally with customers. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to customer sites as required. Prior experience in conveyor belt fabrication, industrial maintenance, or a related trade is preferred; willingness to learn and complete on-the-job training is essential.
