PO3 Assembler - HUGO Job Description The PO3 Assembler plays a key role in assembling products using hand and power tools, following detailed instructions, diagrams, and blueprints. This position operates a variety of tools and equipment, maintains accurate production and quality records, and actively supports continuous improvement efforts. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is comfortable using computers, and wants to grow within a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment. Responsibilities
+ Operate tools, equipment, and assembly processes in accordance with provided work instructions and standard operating procedures, and apply prior experience to operate effectively with limited or no instructions when needed.
+ Assist in creating or refining work instructions when none are available or when improvements are identified, ensuring clarity and consistency for the team.
+ Understand and adhere to standard work practices, including all quality policies and customer specifications, to ensure products meet required standards.
+ Monitor personal work output to ensure quality requirements are consistently met, and promptly communicate and escalate issues or nonconformances to supervisors when necessary.
+ Maintain accurate timekeeping, labor tracking, and inventory control records to support production planning and accountability.
+ Complete all required process documentation, scrap reporting, and quality records in a timely and accurate manner.
+ Support improvement initiatives focused on safety, cleanliness, product quality, and operational efficiency, and actively participate in efforts to enhance the work environment.
+ Generate and share innovative ideas and solutions to address complex problems in the assembly process and overall workflow.
+ Stay current on all certifications and training requirements associated with the role, and complete assigned tasks and training on time without compromising quality.
+ Effectively manage workload and prioritize tasks to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
+ Train other team members on assembly tasks and procedures when assigned, contributing to knowledge sharing and team development.
+ Adapt to changing priorities, processes, and product requirements, and remain flexible in taking on different tasks on a frequent basis.
