- 3 pm) Assembler The Assembler is responsible for assembling components, sub-assemblies, and final products across various manufacturing lines.
What You Will Do:
Assemble basic components using hand tools and equipment that is engineered for light assembly. Perform repetitive assembly tasks with precision, such as attaching, labeling, and packaging parts. Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality and functionality standards. Document issues encountered during assembly using tools and standards to verify product quality and functionality. Track and document production metrics, such as completed units or defects. Identify and segregate defective parts for review and document quality issues. Adhere to all safety protocols, use PPE, and report potential hazards. Perform basic equipment checks. Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members,supervisors, engineers,and quality controlto address challenges and improve processes. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing to report issues and provide updates. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and store toolsand equipmentproperly. Follow step-by-step written or verbal instructions. Be flexible by working overtime, cross-training, and adapting to new processes or technologies. Other duties as assigned. What You Need toSucceed:
Education:
High School Diploma orGED (OPTIONALREMOVE IF APPLICABLE TO MANUFACTURING SITE
) Familiarity with assembly techniques, tools, and equipment. Basic computer literacy. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and testing equipment effectively. Ability to produce parts and products to meet quality standards. Ability to be flexible in role, adjusting to new processes, technologies, or production requirements.Physical Demands:
Ability to handle parts and tools with precision. Perform repetitive motions (bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, lifting, gripping, and grasping with hands).Standing Duration:
