S_180449 Our client is seeking a versatile Assembly, Foaming & Materials Support Specialist to join their Rockton, IL team. Candidates will be assigned to a primary area based on shop needs and experience. Must pass a basic math assessment, have reliable transportation to Rockton, IL, and be open to working either 1st or 2nd shift (openings vary)
Role Highlights Compensation:
$20.00 / hour, plus shift differential pay for 2nd shift

Shift/schedule:
1st Shift (5:00 AM - 3:30 PM) & 2nd Shift (3:35 PM - 2:05 AM) Employment type: Temp-to-Hire (TTH) Growth or other perks: Hands-on cross-training and clear pathways to full-time client placement What You'll Do (You will focus primarily on one of the following areas, with potential to cross-train over time):
Assembly Focus:
Read blueprints and schematics to assemble mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies using wiring, soldering, and mechanical fastening tools.
Foaming & Insulation Focus:
Prepare, tape, and foam cabinet shells, doors, and tanks according to engineering specifications and clean finished units.
Materials & Logistics Focus:
Support department operations by handling line picking, packing items, cycle counting, and maintaining stock levels.
Quality & Operations Support:
Inspect finished components against print specifications and maintain clean, safe shop workstations. What You'll Bring High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to pass a basic math assessment (used for measurements, part counts, and order reading). At least 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or material handling. Ability to read blueprints, standard parts lists, or technical drawings. Strong manual dexterity and the physical ability to lift and move heavy units throughout the shift.
