Department Overview Our Applied Technology organization puts some of Motorola Solutions' brightest minds on unique, highly challenging projects. Based on decades of experience with our customers, we apply leading-edge technologies to support security and safety throughout the world. Job Description + Basic printed circuit board assembly, rework and modification. + Responsible for following, and using Work Instructions and Procedures. + Responsible for assembling product of varying degrees of complexity. + Responsible for the visual inspection of their own assembly work + Responsible for good house-keeping, safety, security, and adherence to Department policies, and procedures. + Must be organized and detail oriented, with the ability to work independently, under minimal supervision. + The ability to use numerous types of equipment and assembly tools, including microscopes, soldering irons, tweezers, calipers, picks, scalpels, hot plates, epoxies, etc. + Must be able to sit at a microscope for extended periods. + Must be able to work closely with designers, engineers and quality personnel. + Basic computer skills are required + Complete IPC certification within 3 months of hire (training will be provided), or have current certification. + Knowledge of Basic electronics a plus. #AppliedTech #

Target Base Salary Range:

$29,500 - $47,200 USD Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. Basic Requirements + High School Diploma/ GED and 3+ years of relevant work experience are required for this position. + The ability to demonstrate printed circuit board assembly experience to include soldering of surface mount, through-hole, and wire technology. + U.S. Citizenship required as well as the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contractors.
