POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the stock assembly team, you will be tasked with completing various subassemblies required to complete the assembly of our actuator units. This role is responsible for ensuring subassemblies such as needles, kits, couplings, magnets, and more are assembled and on the shelf so that full unit assembly can be completed by the assembly team without any delay. This person contributes to the success of PHD by ensuring parts are available when needed, improving the team's ability to meet on-time-delivery requirements.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble and bag Needle and Ball Check Assemblies Bagging of kits (including rebuild and attachment kits from CMA cell) Assemble couplings to specifications Process all miscellaneous sub-assemblies for stock and orders Assemble and test all magnetic piston assemblies Set up and operate the automated bushing bench Pot and bag all switches Assemble pistons for stock Setup and operate the molding machine for switches Operate the Telesis engraving machine Assemble and test products as assigned Maintain good housekeeping conditions in the work area Use the computer to access job-related databasesWORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
May encounter contact with chemicals used on the production floor such as lubricants, coolants, adhesives, etc. One level with concrete floors, no steps, stairs, or inclines Extensive periods of sitting, rotation of wrists, and repetitive hand motions. Manual dexterity, reaching with hands/arms. Frequent standing and walking Minimal lifting of up to 50 pounds Good close visual ability High school diploma or equivalent. Strong mechanical knowledge and ability. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools. Some experience with blueprint reading is preferred. Willingness and openness to learn.
