Job Description

Our Greenwood, IN production site is seeking a dedicated Assembler to work the 3rd shift. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly and thorough inspection of goods before they are shipped.
Core Responsibilities :
Join components using various fasteners such as screws, bolts, rivets, or clips Repair, disassemble, or reclaim materials from scrap parts Utilize equipment like riveting machines, hand drills, or drill presses to support production tasks Operate a forklift once you have successfully obtained the necessary certification Help maintain high quality standards by performing spot checks and smoothing surfaces through minor metal removal Examine finished goods for flaws like incorrect artwork, damaged components, or missing parts to ensure product integrity
Required Qualifications :
Completion of high school or an equivalent educational credential Prior training or experience in a similar role lasting one to three months Capacity to follow directions provided through diagrams, verbal communication, or written documents Mathematical proficiency involving whole numbers, decimals, fractions, and units of measure Skill in interpreting operations sheets and blueprints to identify necessary setups and procedures Competence in using the Traverse Manufacturing System and operating a Rivet Machine Physical ability to lift loads weighing up to 50 pounds
