Job Description
Matrix designs, manufactures, and sells innovative technological products that help keep people safe. Originally focused on the underground coal mining industry, Matrix has expanded into new industrial markets in the United States and globally. We are currently seeking an Assembly Technician to assemble components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods to defined product specifications. This role supports technical assembly and kitting operations and requires consistent adherence to standard work practices, attention to detail, and sound judgment when making decisions within established standards and procedures. This position works in a team environment at our home office in Newburgh, IN and is not a remote position. This position reports to the Production Supervisor. Duties and Responsibilities Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and process documentation. Assemble components and finished goods to product specifications and established work instructions. Assemble and install electronic components into sub-assemblies and finished goods. Perform in-process and final tests/inspections to verify products meet specifications. Document and maintain manufacturing procedures, records, and required production documentation for specified devices. Calibrate, test, and maintain production and test equipment as applicable and assigned. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area and comply with company rules and policies. Operate warehouse equipment such as fork trucks, pallet jacks, and work-assist vehicles, as needed and authorized. Support the company's
