Position Overview As an FAA-certified Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring every aircraft meets the highest standards of airworthiness, quality, and regulatory compliance. Working alongside an experienced team of aviation professionals, you will inspect aircraft throughout the maintenance and refinishing process, ensuring every aircraft is returned to service safely and in full compliance with FAA regulations and customer expectations. This is a hands-on inspection role where experience matters. Many shifts operate with only one or two inspectors, making strong inspection experience, sound judgment, and attention to detail essential to maintaining the safety, quality, and on-time delivery our customers expect. Key Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections on assigned aircraft.
• Ensure aircraft meet all airworthiness requirements prior to return to service.
• Review work packages for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
• Maintain and oversee aircraft maintenance records and computerized maintenance tracking systems.
• Generate maintenance due lists and ensure inspection records remain current.
• Interpret and apply Engineering Orders (EOs), task cards, customer drawings, Repair Station Manuals, OEM technical publications, Airworthiness Directives, FAA regulations, service bulletins, and other approved technical data.
• Perform aircraft paint inspections, including strip/paint process verification, decals, and interpretation of customer drawings and technical data.
• Perform flight control balancing and required calculations in accordance with customer and OEM requirements.
• Perform aircraft weighing when required.
• Perform or oversee minor maintenance up to an A-Check level.
• Perform receiving inspections for aircraft parts when needed.
• Ensure only approved, airworthy parts and components are installed on aircraft returned to service.
• Properly complete FAA documentation, including maintenance releases, FAA Form 337, FAA Form 8010-4, and other required records.
• Identify, tag, and document unserviceable or rejected parts in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist with aircraft towing operations by serving as Tow Supervisor, brake rider, or tug driver when qualified.
• Follow all FAA Part 145 Repair Station, Quality Control, customer, and company policies and procedures.
• Partner closely with the Chief Inspector, maintenance personnel, and production teams to maintain the highest levels of safety, compliance, and quality.
• Contribute to a culture built on teamwork, professionalism, continuous improvement, and pride in delivering exceptional aircraft to our customers. Qualifications
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.
• Meets the requirements of 14 CFR Part 65.83.
• Verifiable commercial aircraft maintenance employment within the last two (2) years.
• Minimum five (5) years of commercial or regional aircraft maintenance experience, including aircraft inspection responsibilities.
• Previous aircraft inspection experience is essential, as many shifts operate with only one or two inspectors responsible for ensuring aircraft meet all regulatory, customer, and company quality standards.
• Experience across major Airbus and Boeing fleets, including narrowbody and widebody aircraft.
• Working knowledge of FAA Parts 53, 65, 91, 121, 135, and 145.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance documentation and inspection procedures.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn maintenance tracking software.
• Ability to work safely from ladders, aerial lifts, and around heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to successfully pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening, background check, and applicable security requirements.

Pay:

$28.00 – $42.00 per hour
