Mechanical Assembly Technician responsible for assembling, trimming, and installing prefabricated metal buildings and related mechanical components used to house electrical equipment. Job Requirements Experience with mechanical assembly, construction, fabrication, or related hands-on work. Ability to assemble prefabricated metal building components. Ability to use basic hand and power tools. Ability to climb ladders and work from scaffolding up to 15 feet. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to follow established assembly procedures and work instructions. Preferred Skills High school diploma or GED. Basic electrical aptitude. Experience fabricating or preparing metal components. Experience installing mechanical equipment. Experience working with prefabricated structures or industrial enclosures. Job Responsibilities Assemble prefabricated metal buildings used to house electrical equipment. Trim and fit metal building components during assembly. Assist with fabrication and preparation of building components. Install mechanical components and related equipment. Use hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks. Perform work from ladders and scaffolding as required. Move and position materials and components weighing up to 50 pounds. Follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and applicable safety procedures.
