Job Description

Temporary Essential Functions:
+ Prepare metal parts and products for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, masking, and inspecting surfaces. + Remove oils, dirt, rust, and other contaminants to ensure proper paint adhesion. + Hang or position parts on racks or conveyors for the powder coating process. + Inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards before painting. + Mask or tape areas that should not be coated. + Assist with unloading painted parts and perform light assembly tasks as required. + Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency. + Follow all safety procedures and company policies related to equipment and materials. + Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding production needs or quality concerns. + Perform other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
+ Moves parts weighing up to 80 pounds. + Frequent cutting bending and moving of parts weighing up to 50 pounds. + Occasional squatting, sitting, kneeling, and overhead reaching. + Exposure to noise - continuously + Lifting/carrying/moving up to 50 pounds frequently + Continuously operating machinery with buttons, levers, and switches. + Lifting parts above the shoulder and requiring 80 pounds of force to initiate movement. + Standing, Twisting, Walking - frequently + Continuous standing and walking on concrete surfaces
Position Requirements:
+ Passage of Drug Test + Passage of Physical Agility Test + Good organizational skills + Good verbal communication + Diligence and attention to detail + Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination + Experience painting a variety of surface types LSI Staffing is An Equal Opportunity Employer.
