Schedule:
Full-time | Mon-Fri Day Shift with Flexible Hours About the Opportunity Prairie View is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and collaborative Psychiatrist to join our dedicated multidisciplinary team. This position is uniquely structured for someone who thrives in a social setting and wants to combine high-impact direct patient care with executive leadership. Whether you are an experienced psychiatric leader or a driven, fresh residency graduate eager to step into leadership, Prairie View provides a supportive environment with built-in mentorship. Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights Direct Clinical Care (75%): Provide outpatient evaluations, medication management, and limited psychotherapy for adults and adolescents (ages 10+). An established client base is ready for transfer to help you quickly build your caseload. Clinical Leadership & Oversight (25%): Work directly with executive leadership to provide clinical supervision and support to medical providers across the organization.
Community & Tri-County Engagement:
Serve as a collaborative face of Prairie View across our tri-county network, connecting with local agencies, nursing facilities, and care providers.
Inpatient & Call Support:
Participate in the regular physician call rotation for weekend inpatient coverage and consults.
Academic & Clinical Innovation:
Opportunities to support TMS assessments, supervise nurse practitioners, instruct students (KU School of Medicine / WSU), and engage in quality performance improvement initiatives. Why Join Prairie View?
