Assembler (2nd shift)

We are seeking an Assembler for our Mandeville, LA office on the 2nd shift. Second shift is Monday-Thursday 12pm-10pm. Core Responsibilities Assembly and disassembly of pumps in shop. Completion of comprehensive inspections of pumps and components. Identification of the cause(s) of mechanical/electrical pump failures & recommend corrective action. Daily maintenance of department equipment and tools. Record and monitor each order's labor and material. Ensure and control safety and quality assurance at all times. Inventory functions, to include stocking, pulling parts, and conducting inventory audits under direction. May be required to assist service mechanics in field repair. Be environmentally conscious of work environment. Adhere to inventory control and other company procedures as applicable. Professional conduct always. Comply with the GCB Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System requirements. Minimum Requirements/Skills 3 yrs experience fitting piping, running instrument tubing & installing components & vessels on skid-mounted equipment. Read & understand P&ID, general arrangement and isometric drawings Prior experience fabricating & installing piping and support structures. Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install various metal & plastic pipes, valves & fittings. High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
