Job Description

Job Title:
Assembler Job Description The assembler plays a crucial role in stacking and aligning rotor and stator laminations for the assembly of cores. This position requires measuring stacks using a ruler and adjusting laminations to meet specified core body sizes. The assembler will perform GMAW tack welds that must meet certification requirements, as well as engage in daily/weekly TPM tasks with precision and consistency. The role involves using various hand and power tools, including spot welding, under general supervision. Instruction will be provided on new work and variations. It takes approximately 5,000 hours to become familiar with the work, materials, equipment, and procedures, and to achieve proficiency in welding quality and quantity. Responsibilities Stack and align rotor and stator laminations for core assembly. Measure stack size using a ruler and adjust laminations as needed. Perform GMAW tack welding to meet certification standards. Complete daily and weekly TPM tasks accurately and consistently. Utilize various hand and power tools, including spot welding. Follow instructions on new work and variations. Essential Skills Assembly experience Ability to read and follow work orders Additional Skills & Qualifications 6 months of prior assembly experience Vocational or high school education or equivalent On-the-job training to learn trade techniques and procedures Why Work Here? The shifts available include:
1st Shift from 6am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday; 2nd Shift from 4pm to 2am, Monday to Thursday; and 4th Shift, a weekend shift from 6am to 6pm, Friday to Sunday. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of North Mankato, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $51126.00 - $63446.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. . . .
