Clean Room Medical Device Assembler (2nd Shift) Job Description This role focuses on assembling neurosurgical sponges in a clean room environment using a thread and sewing needle. You follow detailed work instructions to perform highly repetitive, precision-based tasks that require strong hand dexterity and exceptional attention to detail on a medical device production line. Responsibilities Assemble neurosurgical sponges in a clean room environment using thread and a sewing needle. Follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures with accuracy and consistency. Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining high quality and precision throughout each shift. Use hand tools and manual sewing techniques to complete medical device assembly steps. Inspect assembled components visually to ensure they meet quality and cleanliness standards. Maintain focus and attention to detail while working on a fast-paced production line. Handle small components and materials with care to prevent contamination or damage. Adhere to all clean room protocols, including proper gowning and handling procedures. Work collaboratively with production team members to meet daily output and quality goals. Arrive on time and maintain reliable attendance to support consistent production schedules. Essential Skills Proven reliability and strong commitment to good attendance. Ability to work effectively in a clean room medical device manufacturing environment. Strong hand dexterity for fine, detailed assembly and sewing work. Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent quality and focus. Ability to follow detailed work instructions and production guidelines accurately. Experience or aptitude for assembly, production, or general manufacturing work. Attention to detail when handling small components and performing precision tasks. Ability to work successfully on a structured production line and meet productivity targets. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in clean room operations or medical device assembly is beneficial. Familiarity with sewing needles, thread, and basic hand tools in a production setting. Background in general production, assembly, or medical manufacturing is an advantage. Comfort working under defined work instructions and quality standards. The environment is structured and process-oriented, with a production line setup and defined work instructions guiding daily tasks. Clean room attire and protective gear are required to maintain product integrity and meet medical device standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beverly, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
