Job Description

Our Client is seeking a full-time Mechatronics (Assembly) Technician to join their team onsite in Waltham, MA, with travel up to 75%. Our Client is an innovative company focused on advanced robotic and automotive automation technologies, building complex systems that integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components. This is a highly hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys assembling, testing, and debugging cutting-edge robotic systems. The #1 draw of this opportunity is the ability to work directly on real-world deployments—from lab builds to customer go-lives—while collaborating cross-functionally with engineering teams. Our Client is looking for someone curious, mechanically inclined, and eager to grow their skillset in automation and robotics, with strong exposure to field work, system integration, and emerging technologies. Required Skills & Experience Hands-on automotive experience or equivalent, particularly related to vehicle tires Strong expertise in electro-mechanical assembly, operation, and root cause troubleshooting Experience with wiring, cable fabrication, and cable management Background in product testing and data collection Experience working in an engineering lab environment Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams Desired Skills & Experience Experience with machining Familiarity with Linux environments or command-line tools Experience using CAD tools such as Onshape or SolidWorks Veteran or prior military service experience What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown Robotic system assembly, testing, and debugging Vehicle configuration management and system documentation Cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and software teams Daily Responsibilities Assemble and test robotic systems and subsystems Troubleshoot system issues and document solutions Support customer deployments, commissioning, and go-live activities Assist with pilot programs, demos, and on-site implementations Maintain configuration libraries and contribute to scalability improvements Travel up to 75% as needed for deployments and support The Offer Competitive Base Salary (dependent on experience) You will receive the following benefits: Medical Insurance Dental Benefits Vision Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
