Sign Installer / Shop Help Duval Sign Company is looking for a dependable, hands-on Sign Fabricator / Production Helper to join our shop. We are a small sign company handling a variety of commercial sign projects, including fabrication, graphics, installation, service, and repair. This is a great position for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in building things correctly, and likes the variety that comes with working in a sign shop. Responsibilities The primary responsibility of this position will be sign fabrication and production , along with assisting with general shop duties.

Typical responsibilities include:

Fabricating aluminum and other sign components Cutting, drilling, assembling, and finishing sign materials Building sign cabinets, panels, frames, and miscellaneous sign components Working with aluminum, ACM, acrylic, PVC, and other common sign materials Basic electrical/LED sign assembly when required Operating a large-format printer and related production equipment Printing vinyl and digital graphics Laminating, trimming, masking, and applying vinyl graphics Preparing sign panels and substrates for graphics Reading measurements, drawings, and basic shop plans Preparing completed signs and materials for installation Maintaining an organized and clean production area Receiving and organizing materials and deliveries Helping with loading/unloading trucks and equipment Assisting with general shop duties as needed What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently . Previous sign industry experience is preferred, particularly experience with sign fabrication, vinyl graphics, or large-format printing. However, we are also willing to consider someone with fabrication, construction, metalworking, printing, automotive, or similar hands-on experience who is willing to learn the sign industry.

Our projects vary from day to day, and the position involves a combination of fabrication, printing, graphics, finishing, and general production work. We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of a small shop and take ownership of the quality of the work they produce. Sign industry experience is a plus, but attitude, reliability, mechanical ability, and willingness to learn are equally important.

Pay:

$22.00 - $32.00 per hour
