Job Description:

Shop Technician We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated, and mechanically inclined Shop Technician to join our team in Chelmsford. The ideal candidate will be adept at performing a wide variety of aftermarket vehicle installations and committed to continuous improvement. Responsibilities Perform high-quality installations of a wide range of aftermarket auto and truck accessories, including: 12-volt electronics (e.g., remote starters, keys/fobs) Truck accessories (e.g., bedliners/sprays, running boards, floor mats, mud guards) Leather and trim kits (e.g., Katzkin, Alea) Vehicle upfit products from vendors like Alea, Signature Automotive, Patriot Liner, and Holman. Ensure all installation work meets Micorp standards. Actively participate in training provided by vendors and shop managers to master new products and techniques. Work with the team to ensure accurate invoicing, including obtaining the full Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) for documentation. Have your own set of tools. Qualifications Proven mechanical aptitude and experience in automotive installation or a related trade. Ability to work unsupervised and complete installation projects from beginning to end. Self-motivated, reliable, and possessing strong attention to detail. Willingness to learn and improve skills continuously; future pay increases are based in part on installation proficiency.
