Job Title:
Assembler/Molder Job Description The Assembler/Molder will utilize hand and power tools to integrate metal shells into plastics, conduct cable assembly for mold castings used in batteries, and manage large cable assemblies. This role also involves operating crimpers and inserting connectors heated from the oven. Molders are tasked with creating products from various materials, molding, forming, casting, shaping, or carving them for different uses such as food, tiles, pipes, candles, and figurines. They will operate molding machines and ovens efficiently. Responsibilities Use hand and power tools to incorporate metal shells into plastics. Assemble cables for mold castings in battery production. Manage large cable assemblies. Operate crimpers and insert hot connectors. Mold, form, cast, shape, or carve products from various materials. Operate molding machines and ovens. Essential Skills Experience with mold and tooling operations. Familiarity with injection molding and mechanical processes. Proficiency in machine operating and general labor tasks. Ability to handle general production, machine operation, and assembly work. Mechanical aptitude is required. Capability to work in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to stand for long periods. Preferably bilingual with Spanish speaking skills. Mechanically inclined with assembly experience. Why Work Here? It is a fast-paced environment where keeping up with production demands is essential. Assemblers work from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, while Molders operate from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fall River, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
