Job Description

The Panther Group is hiring an Assembly Technician for a client in the Franklin, MA area. The Assembly Technician will perform electrical and mechanical assembly, fabrication, testing, and inspection of complex assemblies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work from engineering drawings and detailed work instructions. Responsibilities Assemble, fabricate, test, and inspect electrical and mechanical assemblies. Read and follow assembly drawings, blueprints, schematics, bills of materials, and work instructions. Install and assemble electrical and mechanical components. Use hand tools, torque tools, measuring instruments, soldering equipment, and other assembly tools. Perform hand soldering as required. Complete assembly and manufacturing tasks according to established procedures and quality standards. Inspect completed work to verify it meets specifications. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Keep workstations, tools, and equipment clean and organized. Work with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet production schedules. Follow company safety procedures and manufacturing requirements. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of manufacturing experience involving electrical and/or mechanical assembly. Ability to read and follow blueprints, assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Experience using hand tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to perform basic shop-floor math. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to prioritize work and meet production schedules. Preferred Qualifications Experience with hand soldering. Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, or
J-STD-001
standards. Experience assembling complex electro-mechanical products. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment and follow applicable safety procedures.
Pay:
$25-$28 per hour, W2, depending on experience. #INDENG
