Job Description
Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as waveguide components.
- Works from diagrams and drawings, use hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
- Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
- Requirements
Basic Qualifications for Assembler 1:
- Ability to read and follow written assembly procedures and drawings.
- Ability to sit or stand for 2 hour periods, ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to operate bench grinders, sanders, apply braze stop using small brushes.
Preferred Qualifications for Assembler 1:
