Full Job Description Specialized Electro-Mechanical Equipment Builder Location:
West Boylston, MA Pay:
$22 - $26 per hour

Full-Time Build Custom Equipment—Not the Same Product Every Day Are you an experienced electro-mechanical assembler who enjoys challenging builds, detailed wiring, and seeing a complete system come together? We are seeking a Specialized Electro-Mechanical Equipment Builder to assemble sophisticated products and equipment designed for specific customer applications. This is not repetitive, high-volume production or a prototype-only position. You will work on specialized client builds that may vary in size, configuration, and complexity. This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in electro-mechanical assembly, machine building, electrical panel wiring, capital equipment, automation equipment, medical devices, or complex industrial systems . What You'll Build Specialized equipment built to customer specifications Electrical panels and control boxes Mechanical and pneumatic assemblies Chassis, power supplies, cables, and subassemblies Complex biomedical devices and capital equipment What You'll Do Build specialized equipment from assembly drawings and work instructions Read wiring diagrams, wire run lists, Bills of Material, and mechanical drawings Perform point-to-point wiring and route cables throughout complex assemblies Assemble electrical panels, control boxes, chassis, and mechanical structures Integrate electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic components into completed systems Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and micrometers Identify and troubleshoot assembly or wiring issues Work closely with Engineering and Quality on build requirements Learn new customer products and share build knowledge with other assemblers Required Skills Previous electro-mechanical, electrical, or complex mechanical assembly experience Experience reading assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Material Point-to-point wiring or electrical panel assembly experience Ability to assemble and integrate multiple components into finished equipment Proficiency with hand and power tools Experience using calipers, micrometers, or similar measuring tools Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to follow detailed work instructions and customer specifications Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality Experience That Transfers Well We welcome applicants with backgrounds in: Custom machine building Automation or robotics equipment Electrical control panels Capital equipment manufacturing Medical device or biomedical equipment assembly Aerospace or defense assembly Automotive electrical systems Industrial maintenance or field service Military electronics, avionics, or mechanical systems Preferred Experience Complex panel builds with large wire run lists Large-scale capital equipment PC hardware installation and configuration Cleanroom or regulated manufacturing Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic integration Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Comfortable working in a precision light-industrial environment Bring Your Craftsmanship to Every Build This role offers the opportunity to work on specialized customer equipment rather than performing the same repetitive assembly every day.
