Responsibilities:

Assemble machined and fabricated metal parts and subassemblies per blueprints, work orders, and engineering specifications Deburr, file, and finish metal components using hand tools, files, and power deburring equipment to remove sharp edges and achieve clean, finished surfaces Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to ensure work is completed accurately and to specification Self-inspect work using basic measuring tools such as calipers and gauges to verify dimensions before passing parts along Identify and communicate any defects, discrepancies, or non-conformances to supervisors promptly Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with shop procedures Follow all safety protocols and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE)

Skills:

Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and work orders Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Comfortable working with hand tools and light power tools in a shop environment Strong work ethic, dependability, and a team-oriented attitude Capable of performing work responsibilities with reasonable accommodations Experience working in an ISO9001:2015 certified environment is a plus.
