Position Overview American Bully Manufacturing is seeking a highly motivated, mechanically inclined Manufacturing Technician to support fabrication, assembly, inspection, and production operations. This is a hands-on position that supports multiple departments as production needs change. The ideal candidate has experience working in a manufacturing, fabrication, or machine shop environment, can confidently interpret engineering drawings, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. This individual should be comfortable working independently, managing priorities, and adapting to a variety of manufacturing tasks. Responsibilities Perform light fabrication operations including cutting, grinding, drilling, tapping, countersinking, bending, deburring, sanding, and finishing of metal components. Operate common fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, drill presses, belt sanders, and other shop equipment. Assist with setup and operation of waterjet cutting, laser marking/cutting, and sheet metal bending equipment. Read and interpret engineering drawings, travelers, work instructions, and specifications to complete work accurately. Inspect and verify completed work using calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and other precision measuring equipment. Perform mechanical assembly and install PEM hardware, threaded inserts, rivets, and other fastening systems as required. Prepare and bond components using adhesives and bonding agents in accordance with work instructions. Work with aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, and other common manufacturing materials. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while supporting 5S and continuous improvement initiatives. Support production needs across Fabrication, Waterjet, Assembly, Engineering, Shipping, and Inspection as workload requires. Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and workflow. Probationary Period All newly hired employees are subject to a 45-day probationary period . During this period, employees will be evaluated on attendance, reliability, workmanship, technical knowledge, quality of work, ability to interpret engineering drawings, use of measuring equipment, communication, initiative, safety practices, and overall fit within the company.   • 5:00 PM Overtime opportunities may be available based on production demands.
