Job Description

Manufacturing Assembler About the RoleWe arelooking for a Divisional Manufacturing Operator to join our Medical Division. In this role, you will be working with the manufacturing team on the Night Shift from 10:00 PM•6:30 AM, Monday•Friday and manufacture medical devices. This role will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland.
Pay and Benefits:
$22.50•$23.50 per hourThis role is eligible for an additional $2/hour shift differential pay for evening, night, and weekend shifts (in California, the shift differential pay is $2.40/hour).Factors considered in extending an offer within this pay range include (but not limited to) education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.

More details are available at gorebenefitsResponsibilities Set up and operate production equipmentAssemble materials using written instructions (Standard Operating Procedures)Visually inspect, ensure, and assembleparts in process to quality specificationsAccurately enter data into tracking systemWork as a team member in a manner that fosters a positive work environmentConsistent and predictable attendance and punctualityPartner with other functions to continuously assess and improve processesRequired QualificationsMinimum 1 year of demonstrated, consistent work experiencePerform data collection/computer entry and basic mathDemonstrated good verbal and written skillsMaintain excellent attendanceDevelop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships, be flexible and open to change; self-directed, work independently, motivated, detail and task orientedContinuous improvement mind setExcellent eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills with the ability to successfully pass a dexterity pre-screen testAbility to pass visual acuity assessment test including 20/20 with or without corrective visionAbility to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Ability to work within a controlled/clean-room manufacturing environment including but not limited to: wear required clean room garments, set upequipment, light to moderate lifting, stand or sit for long periods of time, perform hand intensive repetitive assembly of product(s), move from one manufacturing team or facility to another and perform hand assembly / visual inspection utilizing measuring equipmentThis role requires pre-hire medical clearance by Gore which may include testing to assess visual acuity and/or the ability to wear specific safety equipment as required during the performance of the role.has context menuDesired Qualifications3 bullet points max.
