Temp-to-Hire Job Summary Builder FirstSource in Frederick, MD, is seeking a Temp-to-Hire Assembler - Synboard to assemble lumber-based components in a production environment. This role requires hands-on experience using nail guns, staple guns, saws , and working with lumber/material handling . Responsibilities Assemble the Synboard and related lumber components by following the work instructions and production standards Safely operate nail guns, staple guns, and saws Measure, cut, and fasten materials to meet quality requirements Use a tape measure accurately (including basic fractions) and perform basic math Inspect finished pieces for quality and correct dimensions; rework as needed Move and stage lumber/materials to support production flow Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all safety/PPE policies Support other production/assembly tasks as assigned
Requirements Required:
Experience with nail gun, staple gun, saws , and lumber/materials Assembly/manufacturing, carpentry, framing, truss/panel, or construction experience preferred Ability to stand for the full shift and perform repetitive tasks Ability to lift up to 50 to 100 lbs Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Benefits (per policy/eligibility) Paid sick time after 90 days Vacation after 1 year Holiday pay
