$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, Day Shift Our client is seeking motivated and dependable Assembly Technicians to join their growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop technical skills and build a long-term career in cable and mechanical assembly. Position Overview As an Assembly Technician, you will support the production and testing of custom cable assemblies and related components. Depending on your experience and ability to learn, you will progress from basic assembly tasks to more advanced technical work involving connector assembly, testing, splicing, and soldering. The ideal candidate is dependable, eager to learn, and committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Cut, strip, label, and prepare wires and cables for assembly Assemble connectors and cable harnesses according to specifications Read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions Perform testing, splicing, and soldering tasks as trained Ensure products meet quality and customer requirements Maintain a clean and organized work area Work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines
Qualifications Required:
Reliable attendance and dependable work history Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred:
Electronic component soldering experience Experience reading mechanical drawings or schematics Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience
