Description Fabricator / Heavy Duty Mechanic Westminster, MD | RMS Truck Bodies (All Roads) Rare opportunity available at RMS Truck Bodies in Westminster. We are expanding our team and searching for an experienced mechanic/technician/fabricator or someone who is eager to learn! This is your chance to work with hydraulic systems on custom truck bodies in a team-driven shop that values safety, skill, and career growth. Apply today! Compensation & Schedule 25/hr+ based on experience Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm Benefits Medical, dental, vision, disability, life & supplemental insurance (eligible the 1st of the month after 30 days ) Flexible schedule— no nights or weekends Comprehensive paid training to earn certifications 401(k) with company contribution Paid time off & company-paid holidays Employee referral bonus program Advancement opportunities — we promote from within Responsibilities Install, plumb, and commission hydraulic equipment on truck bodies (pumps, valves, cylinders, PTOs) Perform light welding/fabrication mounting and fit-up of equipment & accessories Route hoses and wiring, perform basic 12V electrical hook ups and testing Read/use build sheets, drawings and spec sheets. Verify parts and configurations Troubleshoot hydraulic/mechanical issues and complete quality repairs Follow shop safety procedures and maintain an organized work area Accurately document work performed Other duties as assigned Requirements High School diploma or GED Valid driver's license Mechanical aptitude, ability to use power tools
