Job Description
Overview Parallel Robotics is a full-stack engineering R&D firm with deep expertise in mechatronics, robotics, and mechanical design. We develop robots with applications in various industries, including industrial automation and healthcare. Parallel Robotics is looking for an Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for assembling, repairing, inspecting, testing, and shipping robotic devices and accessories. This is a full-time position, and we are looking to hire as soon as we find the right candidate. Responsibilities Assemble robotic devices and subassemblies according to written work instructions and manufacturing plans. Manufacture parts and tooling (engineering materials) that will be used for device builds, including 3D printed materials. Repair nonconforming or faulty devices. Document build and repair activities to maintain regulatory compliance. Manage inventory of parts and tools (engineering materials) using a web-based system. Collaborate with the quality team to perform checks on finished devices and subassemblies. Support R&D projects via manufacturing and assembly. Comply with all the requirements of the Quality Management System (QMS) and corporate policies. Qualifications/Skills Personal or professional hands-on experience (assembly, manufacturing, mechanical, hobbyist, or trade-related work) including soldering. Experience with metrology or part inspection is preferred. Comfortable working with computer systems. Experience with Google Drive / Google Workspace is a bonus. Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Self-motivated. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
