Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembler / Disassembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately assembling and disassembling mechanical components, ensuring all parts meet quality standards and specifications. Your expertise in interpreting technical drawings, using precision measuring instruments, and handling various tools will be essential to maintaining efficient production workflows. This position offers an engaging environment where precision, safety, and teamwork drive success. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment according to blueprints and schematics. Disassemble existing assemblies for maintenance, repair, or reconfiguration following detailed instructions and technical drawings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, production documents, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly or disassembly processes. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math to verify dimensions and tolerances during assembly/disassembly procedures. Maintain a clean and safe workspace by adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols and proper manual handling techniques. Document work progress accurately in production records and report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly. Assist in troubleshooting mechanical problems by interpreting technical drawings and utilizing mechanical knowledge to identify solutions. Qualifications Proven experience with assembly or disassembly in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools. Familiarity with shop math necessary for measurements and calculations during assembly processes. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, soldering equipment, and specialized industrial tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of mechanical blueprint interpretation and machining concepts is preferred. Excellent manual dexterity with attention to detail for precise assembly/disassembly tasks. Commitment to safety practices including PPE use and proper manual handling techniques.
