STAUFF is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, machining, testing, labeling, packaging, and preparing hydraulic and fluid power components in accordance with production requirements, engineering drawings, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Assemble and package hydraulic and fluid power components according to production orders and engineering drawings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and work instructions. Verify materials and components against Bills of Materials (BOMs). Unpack and stage inventory for production and assembly activities. Perform assembly operations under the direction of the Production Manager. Print, apply, and verify product labels for accuracy. Process production orders within SAP, including reprinting and closing work orders. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Follow all quality procedures, ISO requirements, company policies, and safety regulations. Identify and report damaged, defective, or nonconforming materials. Complete required production and quality documentation accurately. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, corrective actions, and Lean Manufacturing activities. Support Kaizen events and process improvement efforts. Cross-train in multiple production areas to support operational flexibility. Follow standardized work instructions and help achieve daily production goals. QualificationsRequired Skills & Abilities Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Strong mathematical and measurement skills. Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools and assembly equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and production documentation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Comfortable working with multiple units of measure and large quantities. Team-oriented with a hands-on approach to work. Education & Experience High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Manufacturing or assembly experience in hydraulic, industrial, automotive, or mechanical environments preferred. Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems preferred. Experience working within ISO-controlled manufacturing environments preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds. Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and handling of components. Ability to use close vision for assembly, inspection, and quality verification. Frequent use of hands and fingers to manipulate tools, parts, and equipment.

Pay:

$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
