This is a hands‑on role for someone who takes pride in high‑end architectural millwork finishing. What You'll Do Finish high‑end custom millwork using water‑ and solvent‑based paints, stains, dyes, and clear coats Lead setup of all finishing procedures, best practices, and workflow Coordinate daily schedule with shop and project managers Color match using stains, dyes, and tinted lacquers Maintain finish formulas, samples, and documentation Manage inventory of coatings, supplies, and prep materials Maintain and clean spray booths, finishing equipment, and work areas What We're Looking For 5+ years in architectural millwork or wood finishing (preferred, but willing to train the right person) Strong color‑matching skills Experience with pre‑cat and post‑cat clear coats and paints Ability to read work orders and shop drawings Strong attention to detail and ability to help build a department from scratch Committed to a clean, organized, and safe workspace
