Cleanroom Assembler Job Description As a Cleanroom Technician, you will be responsible for setting up workstations by reading assembly instructions and gathering necessary parts, tools, and materials. You will assemble subassemblies and finished products according to standardized work instructions, ensuring they meet or exceed quality standards. Your role will include verifying specifications through measurement and testing, complying with quality standards and procedures, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment. Responsibilities Set up workstations by following assembly instructions and gathering necessary components. Assemble subassemblies and finished products according to standardized work instructions. Verify specifications by measuring and testing completed subassemblies and finished products. Maintain compliance with quality standards and work instructions. Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations. Understand and utilize the Bill of Materials and Routings. Pull components per Bill of Materials to support released customer schedules. Comply with non-conforming product procedures and policies. Essential Skills Proficiency in assembling materials. Ability to measure using rulers. Understanding of quality assurance protocols. Experience with assembly and prototypes. Knowledge of Bill of Materials. Additional Skills & Qualifications Good job tenure and manufacturing experience. Experience in clean room manufacturing environments is a plus. Hands-on, self-reliant with strong attention to detail. Work Environment Candidates will be working in a cleanroom, a very clean and highly regulated environment. Each candidate will have their own assembly station within the temperature-controlled manufacturing environment. The dress code includes scrubs provided, tennis shoes, hair nets, gloves, beard nets (if needed), and face masks. No fake nails, nail polish, fake eyelashes, or makeup are allowed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dexter, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
