Shift:
Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30
PM Pay:
$15.00/hour
Job Description:
We're looking for a dependable Assembler/Fabricator to join a custom sign manufacturing team in Farmington Hills. In this role, you'll assemble and fabricate custom signs using a variety of hand and power tools while following blueprints and work instructions. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and thrives in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Assemble custom signs and display components according to blueprints and specifications. Safely operate hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, rivet guns, and grinders. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate assembly. Perform quality inspections throughout the production process to verify measurements, fit, and finish. Measure, cut, fasten, and install various materials including aluminum, acrylic, plastic, and other sign components. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures. Work with team members to meet daily production schedules and deadlines. Report material shortages, equipment issues, or quality concerns to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Previous assembly, fabrication, manufacturing, or construction experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings. Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and move throughout the shift. Reliable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude. #indjackie
