Talascend is currently seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity with our client in Livonia, Michigan. Overview The Assembler I or II role will assist and learn from a senior assembler in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position involves supporting vehicle and product assembly, as well as maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Responsibilities Assist a senior assembler with assembling products and sub-components to support vehicle production and other products. Support vehicle and material movement in and around the facility. Follow electronic build instructions for assembly. Clean and prepare components and vehicles for production. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow established safety procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3+ years of experience required. Ability to learn and follow written instructions. Proficient with computer usage. Ability to perform fine hand manipulations. Knowledge of tools and their use. Ability to focus on details and quality of work. Preferred Qualifications High school automotive shop classes. Experience performing personal vehicle maintenance.
