We are looking for a skilled Automotive Upfit Technician to perform precision hands-on modifications, transforming factory-standard vehicles into fully functional units?

salary:

$21 - $23 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 3:30

PMeducation:

No Degree RequiredResponsibilities Mechanical Equipment Installation:

Safely mount and secure specialized emergency equipment, including light bars, push bumpers, partitions/cages, consoles, auxiliary batteries, component trays, and power supplies.

Electrical Upfitting:

Route complex wire harnesses cleanly throughout vehicle interiors, install electronic controllers, and wire up advanced multi-component electrical systems.

Blueprint & Schematic Reading:

Interpret and follow complex technical drawings and electrical schematics to ensure precise system integration.

Quality Control:

Perform thorough self-inspections on workmanship, maintain accurate build records, and ensure all wiring meets safety and functional standards.

Production Schedule:

Work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment to meet production deadlines.
