Job Description

Job Title:
Assembly Technician Provide comprehensive technical skills to execute FAC P-Series Assemblies on all model types. Critical skills required, assembly of basic mechanical sub-assemblies to precision assemblies. Attention to detail is mandatory. The P-Series assemblies start with sub-assemblies, such as turrets, arms, wrists, robot and rail assemblies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
TECHNICIAN 1 & 2 Assembly Technicians may work on mechanical sub-assemblies, such as turrets, arms, wrists, robots, cable installation, cable catrac and rail assemblies for P-series products that meet Manufacturing Production Plans, standards and Engineering Specifications/Guidelines Manufacturing Productivity•Daily technicians must know work schedule and meet the schedule requirements. Process•Access control plans, quality documents, understand specifications and guidelines. Quality Inspection•. Ensure product and workmanship meets FAC standards. Verify assembly and test results data is complete and within defined ranges as needed.

Tool Management Procedure Housekeeping :
Use a 5-S approach to organizing your work area with team.
Safety Compliance:
Know and work to FANUC Basic Safety Training and Procedures (including but not limited to HAZ MAT, LOCKOUT, TAGOUT, robot safety, risk assessments and proper PPE).
ERP System :
Complete work orders and all related work order tasks
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Solid communication skills in technical and non-technical issues (written and verbal) Knowledge of mechanical assemblies and components Ability to read and comprehend engineering documentation, prints and/or schematics (mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic). Proficient with hand and power tools for mechanical and pneumatic assembly Proficient with hand and power tools Ability to assembly gears and sealed mechanical assemblies Familiar with basic mechanical troubleshooting Ability to use precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators…) Experience with safety procedures (MIOSHA regulations, Safety, Fork Truck, Lockout, Hazardous Material) Maintains a disciplined approach to responsibilities without supervision Technical communication skills 2.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
Mechanical Repair Technician, Construction Technician, Automotive Technician, Pneumatic Technician, Maintenance Technicians, and/or Machine or line builder High School diploma or equivalent
Certifications:
Basic technical training with mechanical focus Associate degree or Technical Certificate in Applied Science, licensed/journeyman, or equivalent experience. 1-5 years' experience in manufacturing mechanical assembly and test. or related experience in manufacturing mechanical assembly Experience with fixtures and jig for mechanical assembly. Experienced and knowledgeable on
ISO 9001
