Job Description
Job Description To assemble a variety of car washing equipment based on production requirements. The light machine assembler position will use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to accomplish the job in a timely fashion. Responsibilities Learn and understand assembly instructions using personal training, work orders, part lists, blueprints and manuals Assemble machines and sub-assemblies in a timely manner to proper fit and finish Accurately complete work order and pick list forms to track inventory Read blueprints and qualify assemblies to drawings Keep work area, parts, supplies and tools organized. Request repairs and replacement of supplies as needed Maintain strict shift attendance compliance Work in a healthy team environment, assist others when able and as needed Qualifications/Skills High School Diploma or GED Ability to efficiently use a variety of mechanical hand tools, cordless and pneumatic drills and drivers, wrenches, measuring devices, testing devices, manual lifts etc. Ability to read and understand blueprints Basic math skills for use of measuring and inspection tools Ability to work on your feet all day, moving continuously and lifting up to 25lbs. Basic computer skills a plus Overtime and weekend work are sometimes required. Install low voltage and high voltage boxes Install contactors, harnesses, connectors Soldering Wiring Electrical wiring Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Also, is frequently required to sit; use hands, fingers, and talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
