In this role, you'll build and troubleshoot complex automated equipment while serving as a technical resource for the production team. Assembler:
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, assembly drawings, and parts lists to complete complex assembliesAssemble mechanical systems, conveyor equipment, and custom machinery to precise specificationsTroubleshoot and resolve mechanical, fitment, alignment, and operational issues with minimal supervisionPerform equipment setup, testing, alignment, and functional verification to ensure quality standards are metTrain and mentor junior assemblers on assembly techniques, blueprint reading, safety practices, and quality expectationsSafely rig, move, and position equipment and large assemblies throughout the facilityComplete production and quality documentation while supporting continuous improvement initiativesWhat You Need to Bring to theAssembler:
High school diploma or equivalent required7+ years of manufacturing, mechanical assembly, fabrication, or industrial equipment assembly experience preferredAbility to independently complete complex assembly work with minimal supervisionStrong mechanical aptitude and advanced troubleshooting skillsExperience reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specificationsExperience using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and precision inspection equipmentAbility to safely rig, lift, and move equipment in a manufacturing environmentStrong communication skills and experience training or mentoring team membersWhy You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
