Mid Continent Engineering is seeking a Fabrication (Laser) Technician to join our team! This is a 6 am to 4:30 pm- Monday through Thursday opportunity. Mid-Continent has been a supplier to first-tier OEMs within the medical, aerospace and defense industries for decades. Referral Program Summary:

Perform basic set-up, operation of Laser Machines. This position could require other machine operating such as; Press Brakes, Saws, Plasma, Router, Drill, Beveling, and Tapping. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following: Operate & set-up Amada laser machines Use shop equipment, overhead cranes, chains, slings, and forklifts in a safe manner. Communicate with co-workers/supervisors to maintain a safe and positive work environment. Keep production at a steady pace to meet delivery dates. Understand usage of measurement standards Ability to work under minimal supervision and assist in training new employees, as needed. Perform other duties, as assigned.

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. 5+ years of operating/ setting up Amada Laser's and other fabrication machines Blueprint reading experience is a must.
