Job Title:
Assembly Technician Job Description As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in the assembly of products by gathering necessary blueprints, routing sheets, specifications, and tools. You will move parts from storage racks to the assembly area, fasten parts together using various fasteners, and ensure the proper assembly of parts into repair kits and switches. This role includes inspecting products, packaging them for shipment, and maintaining production schedules. Responsibilities Gather blueprints, routing sheets, and tools for product assembly. Move parts from storage racks to assembly area. Fasten parts using bolts, screws, speed clips, or other fasteners. Use blueprints, routing sheets, and specifications for assembly operations. Assemble parts into repair kits and switches and package them for shipping. Inspect products prior to packaging and return any rejected products to production. Observe packaging operations and inspect containers for conformance to specifications. Adjust work procedures to meet production schedules. Record information on packaged products. Operate pallet jack to load or move materials and products. Pack parts properly to prevent damage during transportation. Essential Skills Proficiency in mechanical assembly and use of hand tools. Experience with production and power tools. High school diploma or GED; or nine to eighteen months of related experience. Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions and safety rules. Proficiency in reading English and interpreting engineering prints and drawings. Effective communication with shipping clerks and assembly personnel. Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Problem-solving skills and ability to interpret technical instructions. Ability to read blueprints, routing sheets, and test specifications. Capability to maintain production rates and quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Skills & Qualifications Basic understanding of
ISO 9001

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Mankato, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.90 - $18.90/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
