Job Description

Job Title 1st, 2nd, and Weekend Shift Assemblers $23+/hr Job Summary The Assembler is responsible for assembling rotor and stator cores by stacking, aligning, measuring, and adjusting laminations to exact specifications. Work is performed under general supervision with structured on‑the‑job training provided to support skill development, welding proficiency, and production efficiency. Key Responsibilities Stack and align rotor and stator laminations to assemble cores per work orders and specifications Measure core stacks using a ruler and adjust by adding or removing laminations to meet required dimensions Perform GMAW tack welding in accordance with certification and quality requirements Complete spot welding tasks as required during core assembly Safely and effectively use hand tools and power tools during the assembly process Read, understand, and follow work orders and production documentation Perform daily and weekly Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow established work methods, procedures, and safety guidelines Develop proficiency over time in materials, equipment, work methods, welding quality, and production output Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 6 months of prior assembly experience Ability to read and follow work orders and production instructions Basic measurement skills, including measuring stack height with a ruler Ability to perform or learn GMAW tack welding to meet certification standards Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools Ability to perform spot welding as part of the assembly process High school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent Willingness to complete structured on‑the‑job training Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and specification compliance Ability to work under general supervision and follow instructions Work Environment Open production floor with excellent lighting and visibility Clean, quiet, and well‑organized manufacturing facility Use of hand tools, power tools, spot welding equipment, and GMAW tack welding equipment Structured supervision with guidance provided for new work or process changes Conveniently located directly off Highway 14 in North Mankato Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of North Mankato, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $51126.00 - $63446.00/yr.
