Job Title:

Inspector Job Description Perform visual inspections on every unit either in-line or at the end of the line. Each unit requires a thorough check using a checklist of over 50 items. Enter findings into a laptop on the production floor and trace defects up the line to determine issues such as parts problems or assembler mistakes. Responsibilities Conduct visual inspections on each unit. Utilize a checklist to review over 50 items per unit. Enter findings into a laptop on the production floor. Trace defects to identify issues such as parts problems or assembler mistakes. Assist in defect tracing and troubleshooting. Collaborate with the production team to prevent defects. Essential Skills Attention to detail Communication skills Visual inspection Quality control Ability to use calipers and micrometers Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings Additional Skills & Qualifications No specific quality control experience required Ability to stand for entire shift Willingness to train on paperwork and audit processes Assembly background preferred Capability to read and write clearly Understanding of part numbers and locations Why Work Here? Work Environment Work directly on the production floor with no lifting required. Steel-toed boots and safety glasses are mandatory. The hours are Monday to Thursday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional shifts on Fridays. The schedule generally follows the assembly line, with additional time allocated for audits and reports. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Thief River Falls, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
